Day 15: A Thousand Words...

30 Days of YES
Day 15

Happy Day 15 everyone!

Conference Call: Just a reminder, the optional conference call is schedule for tonight at 9pm, ET. Once again, here is the info:
Call-in number: 1-940-287-4000
Pin number: 989241

If you can make it – great. If not, that is great too ;)

Day 15: A Thousand Words…A picture is worth a thousand words. Your assignment today is to take a picture throughout the day of something you love – or something that inspires you. Carry that picture with you throughout the day and reflect on it as much as you can. If you get some time at the end of the day – break out your journal and capture your insights.

Post it: Okay – let’s share your pictures! The blog allows me to post pictures within a blog – so I will post your pictures as you send them to me. This will be a lot of fun sharing and posting all of our pictures. Don’t be shy. Don’t give me the “I’m not talented” excuse. Share those pictures!

Keep em coming!: If you haven’t posted your RAK story yet – post it.

Have a great day everyone! I look forward to hearing from some of you tonight.

YES!!!!!!!

What I love..
My love for Michael...he has given me reason each day
to get up and get moving...he leaves every day with a big hug and
every night he comes
in my room to give my a good night hug and
a LOVE YOU Grandma...wow pretty lucky.
My home..
A year ago I would not have thought I would
feel this way..this condo has given me warmth, safety and comfort. Each day so
grateful to get up and feel and know I'm home.
When I sold my home last year in a week and needed to find a new in a
month, little did I expect this...could I ever feel like I felt in my
last home I just
sold?
The love and help I had in this move..
Tigers expertise in setting up my TVs and dealing with the Comcast people,
Lori's help showing me how all my
furniture would fit...be surprise..Courtney
and J hanging up my favorite pictures.
Mike, just going with the flow, no
complaints..neighbors coming over to
introduce themselves, inviting me to play
cards and including me in my first experience at the Soup Kitchen and just
being so welcoming.
A year later I sit here on this cold, rainy
day appreciating, loving my home.
It was all the LOVE that made the
difference. Thank you God for your
constant care.

As far as the awe of nature in Manhattan, this is about as good as it gets! There is something about a pretty sky at twilight or dusk that really grounds me, inspires me and forces me to take a moment and feel gratitude. It reminds me of when I was touring the country with the musical "Jungle Book". Sunday was always our drive day. We would have just pulled off a miracle of a show the day before with 60 of the local kids and would wake up at the crack of dawn for a long day of driving. I always took first driving shift because of how much I loved the thought of being all alone out there on the road, with hundreds of miles of highway in front of us. Everyone in the car would be asleep and I just loved to sit back pop open the window and breathe it all in; just me, God and that perfect sky...

This is a picture of the fields close to where I live in Missouri. I go on walks with my two sweet dogs throughout the day and if you look close enough, you can see one of them! That is Maggie. She inspires me every day. She is just one year old so She learns something new everyday. She is so perceptive and loving. One of the best things about a dog is that they don't judge anyone. In fact, they can't! Especially with Maggie, she will love you no matter what kind of a day you are having. I love that.
